Up for sale is a rare vintage Playboy men’s quartz dress watch, reference Y481-5280, dating to the 1980s. This version features a black dial with repeating Playboy bunny motifs and gold-tone hands and markers, paired with a square gold-tone case that gives it a clean, understated dress-watch aesthetic typical of the era.
The watch is in full working condition, with accurate timekeeping and proper crown operation. All parts of the watch are original, including the original black leather strap and original Playboy-branded buckle, which are both correct to the watch.
Please note: due to age, the original leather strap is beginning to deteriorate and may require replacement in order to be worn properly.
The watch shows signs of use and age, consistent with a vintage piece from the 1980s. The photos best describe its physical condition and should be reviewed carefully.

► ARCHIVE FILE: SEIKO — BRAND HISTORY
Seiko begins with Kintaro Hattori, who opened a shop selling and repairing clocks in Tokyo's Ginza district in 1881, at the age of twenty-one. He founded the Seikosha factory in 1892 to manufacture wall clocks, built Japan's first wristwatch, the Laurel, in 1913, and put the Seiko name on a dial for the first time in 1924. By mid-century his successors ran one of the most vertically integrated watch companies on earth, making everything from hairsprings to cases under its own roof.
